The Brain Performance Center is a behavioral health center dedicated to improving all aspects of brain health with individualized, innovative and quality care. We have two locations: in Dallas and Irving (Las Colinas), Texas. We treat people who are struggling with common conditions that interfere with their quality of life, relationships, and careers. These problems include ADD/ADHD, Addictions, Depression, Panic Attacks/Anxiety, Autism, Insomnia and many more. By focusing on change at the brain level through biofeedback, neurofeedback, and cognitive behavioral therapy a lot of our patients are able to reduce or discontinue medication. We all have the ability to strengthen and increase our brainpower by creating new connections throughout the brain. By changing the connections in the brain we can change our mental processes, our behavior and our body rhythms. Are you at the end of your rope? There’s hope! >>

Therapy for a Range of Conditions
No two life stories are the same and we don’t treat you the same as others. We have patients with emotional issues like depression and anxiety; others suffer from insomnia, ADHD or memory loss. We have autistic patients that are all at a different place in the spectrum.
Different Treatment Programs
Depending on patient needs, we offer treatment programs that combine neurofeedback, biofeedback, cognitive behavorial therapy, cranial electrical stimulation and brain fitness. Each program is customized to meet your specific needs.
Benefits for All Ages
Approximately half of the patients we treat are children or teenagers with whom we most commonly address ADHD, autism, Asperger’s, learning disabilities, conduct problems, anxiety and other behavior issues. For adults, we often address depression, anxiety, age-related cognitive changes, sleep impairment, addiction, anger and rage, and chronic pain.
Aside from treatment of conditions, we also conduct peak performance training. We have worked with athletes who desire improved athletic performance. Peak performance is also utilized by adults who simply want the competitive edge in business and life.
Who would benefit from Biofeedback and Neurofeedback?
Reduce the need for medication. 90% of patients experience cessation or significant reduction of symptoms in the following conditions:
“Hello, I have been on medication for anxiety for many years. And lately, I either needed to increase the dose or change my medicine to something else. I started on this program and I made it a priority to get well, do the most because the anxiety was so bad, the panic attacks were horrible. So the program has been very, very helpful. I wake up in the morning and I can enjoy my cup of coffee, read if I want to, and life is GOOD. This has been the best thing that I could have done for me. The anxiety is gone, and it is so wonderful to know that there is hope for everyone. That you don’t need to go through life scared, afraid. Let’s not waste time. Let’s enjoy life.”

“My son, when he was about 7 years old, was very depressed. And there’s nothing more heartbreaking for a parent than seeing your small child be so depressed. So I took him to a psychotherapist. And the psychotherapist ran some tests and he determined that he would need an additional type of therapy called neurofeedback. We started in the fall of his 2nd Grade in school and I immediately saw a change in him. He was much happier. He became more focused. Leigh and her staff treated him like he was a king when he came here. And he loved to come. In fact he still comes back for brain brightening sessions from time to time.”

“My name is Mark. I came to the Brain Performance Center about 2-3 months ago and began seeing Leigh here. What brought me here was the fact that I had chronic anxiety and even panic attacks. I suffered from both of those things pretty much my entire life. I began brain training with Leigh 2-3 months ago. I’ve probably done about 17 or 18 sessions. And the cool thing is that after 17 or 18 sessions the anxiety has come down significantly and the panic is basically gone.”
